In the annual spirit of the summer season this December was again focussed on giving. We were excited to embark on a community initiative that brought smiles to thousands of faces this Christmas.

For four nights from 20 – 23 December 2011 the Coca Cola bus and stage, decorated with lights, resounding with Christmas music and loaded with gifts travelled the streets of different areas including Port Shepstone, Gamalakhe, Margate and Murchison. A team of youth and guests including Hibiscus Coast youth manager Phumlani Mzobe assisted in providing presents, clothes, toys and sweets to communities, hospitals, old age homes, orphanages and children along the streets.

We would like to say thank you to every person who contributed to this worthy project, especially Coca Cola Fortune, Wimpy Margate Beach and the Margate Business Association.
